  • Host for the evening was VP Mark Read, and PP Pete Simons was master of ceremonies. The welcome was issued by President Bill Beaton, and grace said by the Rev. Duncan Jamieson.

  • Toasts were made to the Queen, Rotary International, and the Taradale Rotary Club.

  • The guest speaker for the evening was David Sabiston, who was thanked by PP Jock Morris

  • Other important guests included the mayor, David Prebenson.

  • A highlight of the evening was the awarding of the Paul Harris medal to Arthur Stafford in recognition of his considerable work for the Taradale community. The medal was presented by PP Tom McDonald.
